Review on ANWIO Filament Lumens: Omnidirectional UL-Listed Equivalent by Patricia Wilson

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Half dead after a few hours, mediocre color

There are many good LED bulbs on the market but this one is not one of them. The clear glass and filament construction give the lamp a nice, somewhat vintage look (at least when the lamp is off), but things don't go well from there. This lamp only worked for a few hours (in the open light). light) before two of its four LED filaments failed. Even at full brightness, the light quality was only mediocre. The color temperature is listed as warm white (2700K) but this bulb produces a slightly greenish and pale light compared to my other 2700K LED bulbs. The expected yellowish-red warmth is missing here. The light distribution of this lamp is also not very good. It's advertised as omni-directional, but in reality the light falls mostly on the sides of the bulb with only limited, indirect brightness across the top of the bulb. This may work for many lights, but you won't want to use this bulb in most desk/desk lamps. All in all, I cannot recommend this lightbulb. My brightness dropped by half after a few hours of use, and the light quality wasn't impressive even with a fully functioning lightbulb. I would suggest looking elsewhere for lightbulbs. UPDATE: The lamp is now completely dead and doesn't light at all, so the rating hasn't changed. It was mentioned in my original review that the UL file number of this lamp is not in the UL Product iQ database. After I contacted UL for clarification, they determined it was an administrative error and added the number to their database. However, I do not recommend this lamp due to its poor reliability and the manufacturer should really look after their own certification data rather than leaving this up to the consumer.

Pros
  • High performance and long life: warm white (2700K) color, 1100 lumens, 15,000 life, UL listed for your safety.
Cons
  • Not as thick as others
