Although I returned this cable, it had to be repositioned to get the cable at the right angle. The confusion was mainly due to the display images being a bit unclear in the listing to get the right angle for my needs. The cable itself is well made and durable and works well when I tested it before discovering that the angle was on the wrong side to plug my device into my car's main console box. While I liked the other cable I bought from this seller from a different angle, I would consider buying more of these cables in the future to help organize my entertainment center devices. I didn't specifically test the data rate, but it recognizes the device when it's connected.
