Delivery: I received this power supply a day late and it came in a bag, not a box. Revain appears to be out of the box. This is not the way to deliver electronics. I really hope nothing was damaged. PSU: Flat cables are fine, but this PSU needs to be modular. I have 2-3 unused cords just hanging to the side. If it were modular I would just leave those cables in the box. But it's an old computer, so it's not a problem for me. However, I strongly recommend that beginners only buy modular power supplies for better cable management. The protection features of this power supply are impressive, but I haven't used it much yet. I don't know how good this protection is. The real test will be a power outage, a power surge, or even a thunderstorm. I have a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) to protect my computer and I strongly recommend that you use a UPS when taking care of your computer. Before this PSU I had a CoolerMaster 650W that lived with me for about 8 years until it blew. However, if you have a new computer with newer hardware and graphics cards, I recommend going from 800W to 1000W. To make sure it works with all your hardware. Especially if you use more than two monitors. I will try to update this review in 3 months and then 6 months to a year later. So far so good, I recommend :)
