I was looking for an inexpensive lens to use behind the net. I'm a professional photographer who has never needed anything wider than 24mm. I wanted something that could do its job but wouldn't break the bank or get angry if hit by a ball. I needed a fast and sharp wide angle lens for a full frame. And after a long research I came to this beauty. This isn't an L-series build, but it's well put together nonetheless. That doesn't go through with 2.8, but only with 17-20mm. But then it's not rated, just like L! Understand what you are buying and if it suits your needs and mine. You will save a lot of money and will not be disappointed.
