I am very happy that I bought this lens.

I am using this lens on a Canon 50D which has a smaller sensor and therefore a 1.6x crop factor. This lens is very useful though: sharp where you want it but at f/2.8 you get a nice shallow depth of field (perfect for portraits!) this lens and I'm very glad I bought it.

Great lens, great deal!

This lens is amazing, such a great price for a great lens! It's extremely wide and can capture everything you see at once. The quality is excellent, bright juicy colors, clear picture. So happy with this purchase. If you need a wide angle lens, get this one! Just a note for the seller; The lens wasn't packed too tightly, but everything seems fine.

Great lens for the price

I was looking for an inexpensive lens to use behind the net. I'm a professional photographer who has never needed anything wider than 24mm. I wanted something that could do its job but wouldn't break the bank or get angry if hit by a ball. I needed a fast and sharp wide angle lens for a full frame. And after a long research I came to this beauty. This isn't an L-series build, but it's well put together nonetheless. That doesn't go through with 2.8, but only with 17-20mm. But then it's not…

Stunning lenses at an unbeatable price!

Exactly what I was looking for in my new Canon EOS 40D (also bought from Revain). I have two other Tamron AF lenses. Very happy with Tamron's quality, warranty and service (I had to use them once and it was my fault and they charged NOTHING for repairs). I've compared things like this many times. Revain is hard to beat for price and trust! That's why I keep coming back. UPDATE: I know this lens is no longer available from Revain and may never be available again, but if you're interested and…

The sharpest lens I've ever owned

I recently received this lens from Revain.com and immediately fitted it to my Canon XSi and was blown away by the sharpness of this lens compared to two Canon I lenses to have. I took some shots in our backyard and at Herrick Lake (see some of my photos). Once again I was simply blown away by the sharpness of this lens. I noticed the photo. were as sharp as possible, closed at about F5.6. The lens feels solid and focusing is quick and quiet. другим объективом, который я имел в виду перед…

Almost universal lens

I was on a tight budget to buy a lens (indoor/outdoor people and group shots and some landscape shots) and chose it based on reviews. This lens delivers clear images outdoors and in good light conditions (no flash). However, it leaves a lot to be desired for handheld photography of people in low light. I'm looking for a Canon 28mm f/1.8 USM to fill that gap (I'd like a Canon 50mm f/1.4, but on a 1.6x camera it's 80mm, which isn't very useful for me is). It creates soft corners in wide angles. I

Winner in the wide-angle lens category.

Wide-angle lenses should be loved and hated in any high-end camera collection. You always give up something. The zoom is particularly disappointing, being the least able to hide the unnerving reality of wide-angle issues. elevated). Therefore, a wide-angle lens, slightly magnified by this geometry, can now serve as the standard viewing lens to compensate for this inherent magnification (from the digital sensor). In this case, a variable zoom would be nice, but not when it comes with problems…
