I just had to give up and return this lock for my own sake. This was after I put in new batteries, carefully following the instructions to create the keys, the moment I closed it to lock it never opened again until I pried open my 10 year old dresser. Needless to say, I'm not a happy backpacker. What I didn't mention was that it took me over 5 hours to take the box apart, search endlessly for videos on YouTube, and try every configuration to power this thing up. It is NOT easy to install. The instructions are NOT clear and will NOT fit in any drawer, especially if you have a piece of Malm from Ikea. The concept is great! But it all needs a major overhaul to make it more versatile, and there should be MUCH MORE real installation support, not just a demonstration of how to set up maps. I do NOT recommend them if you are looking for a simple one.
