Edit 11/10 - Strap broke yesterday. So it took 13 months. I spent a lot of time figuring out what kind of light to replace my old Leynze Super Drive with. In the end I went for it, but mostly I was disappointed. I didn't choose this particular light because of 1100 lumens, but because of 650 lumens, which is enough for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The max you could get from all the other brands in the second setting was 500 or so. What I don't like: 1. Straps. It's ridiculously tight and I'm sure it'll break pretty quickly. 2. I was hoping to use the base of my old Super Drive to mount the new flashlight but it doesn't fit and you have to use a strap. 3. The light is too far from the pole. The effect is that every time you get out of your seat to pull off a stop or drive up a hill, that light is right in your eyes. Another problem is the light reflection on my hands. I find it terribly distracting. The base of the light rests directly on my Garmin - not much, but it can be tricky when attempting to use this device.
