90 degree access to the trunk!

**Updated 18 months ago. We have been using it for about 18 months now and I would like to report that this jack is still working. We released the trailer about once a month, sometimes twice. The drop shaft on this model is great as I pull the pin out, lower it to the ground or as close to the ground as possible and then put the pin back in. This saves a lot of time because the jack has to be moved. much less to get to the ground and lift the trailer. It's the same when moving in. I pointed this out in my original review, but the fact that you can rotate it 90 degrees and mount it with controls on the side was a lifesaver. I can access the tailgate when the trailer is connected. Overall I'm still very happy with this electrical jack. See below for details on rotating 90 degrees for tailgate access. I used it to replace the hand lifter on my 2018 Keystone Passport fob. I took it on a trip and bought this electric jack a week later. Too bad we didn't have it for our first trip. Installation was very easy, took maybe 15 minutes. Hitched the trailer to the truck, removed the old jack, installed the new one and turned on the power. Here it is. Installation was very easy. At first I was concerned that the mounting holes and plate weren't the standard triangle like some others, but then I realized that the round plate with multiple holes allows me to mount the unit so I can access the tailgate when the trailer is attached. I also now have buttons on the driver's side, which is pretty cool. The light is now deflected to the side, but this is not so important since the pendant has a light for the pendant in the dark. So far I'm very happy with it, mostly because I've been able to do a 90 degree install without having to change the head of the block. There are several videos on YouTube of people removing the top of the device and sliding it to the side. I think just rotating the trailer jack works much better. So far, so good. I will update the review if anything changes with the jack.
