I'm an electrician and pretty damn smart

I bought this from Revain in August 2017. The engine is already dead. The light works and it is connected to a full battery. It's installed correctly, I'm an electrician and pretty damn handy. I called the bulldog, she said to send a photo and model number. No Answer. Bad customer service. I will never buy anything from them again. Waste of my $180. Thanks for nothing bulldog.

  • Not the best

Powerful on the outside and quiet

Received only a few days after ordering. Mounting bolts, washers, nuts, zip ties were included as promised. Easy to read instructions, easy installation. The hitch on my trailer is very heavy but lifts it with no problem. The included leg is easily adjustable to lengthen it. I love how quiet the motor is when turning. Love it. Too bad I bought it a few months ago.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I've only used this thing three times. Tried using it two days ago and it didn't work. The battery is fully charged and the wiring is attached to the battery terminals. I can't find the handle so I called the manufacturer. ONE HOUR on hold and I was #2 on the queue. Then they tell me they don't have spare cranks and that I can buy them from the dealer. I asked the dealer and she didn't know any. Worst deal I've dealt with in years. ESCAPE from these clowns!

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • The list goes on.

The product stopped working after a few uses and less than a month after installation. When I called Revain I was on hold for over 10 minutes after which I was told to deal with Bulldog directly. I was arrested again looking for a phone number. When I called the phone number provided by Revain, the person informed me that I have the wrong phone number. I studied it myself and called the manufacturer, who after 10 days still had not solved my problem.

Easily installs on an existing trailer

Very easy to replace with a broken electric jack. Just a word of warning. The box it comes in doesn't stand up to typical UPS abuse. The first item was destroyed, the box was received sealed with tape but several parts were broken. The plastic cover protecting the electronics was useless. Revain shipped a replacement quickly and I was able to install it when originally planned. That's how everything worked out in the end. This item really needs to be repackaged in an extra box with moreโ€ฆ

This is for the Bulldog Black A-Frame 3500lb Power Jack.

The clutch seems fine, too soon to tell. I bought this for my daughter in an 18ft RV so it's probably too much for her device. I had to attach the connector to the positive wire, which wasn't a big deal, and I moved the connector 90 degrees out of the way so the tailgate was clear. The only issue I had was having to enlarge the hole in the tongue to accommodate a larger diameter bushing. I also emailed the manufacturer with a question to which I never received an answer. This really puts me off

Great camper jack.

The unit arrived with no problems, installation was easy, just unscrew the 3 screws of the original jack. The Bulldog Jack attaches to the original holes and even uses new screws. Connect a cable to the battery and you're good to go. You can raise the trailer and the rear of the truck slightly to make it easier to attach the hitch for load distribution. The narrow profile easily fits in propane tanks as I didn't have a lot of space. is more of a user preference than a design flaw. Push theโ€ฆ

90 degree access to the trunk!

**Updated 18 months ago. We have been using it for about 18 months now and I would like to report that this jack is still working. We released the trailer about once a month, sometimes twice. The drop shaft on this model is great as I pull the pin out, lower it to the ground or as close to the ground as possible and then put the pin back in. This saves a lot of time because the jack has to be moved. much less to get to the ground and lift the trailer. It's the same when moving in. I pointedโ€ฆ
