The unit arrived with no problems, installation was easy, just unscrew the 3 screws of the original jack. The Bulldog Jack attaches to the original holes and even uses new screws. Connect a cable to the battery and you're good to go. You can raise the trailer and the rear of the truck slightly to make it easier to attach the hitch for load distribution. The narrow profile easily fits in propane tanks as I didn't have a lot of space. is more of a user preference than a design flaw. Push the control switch down to extend the jack and up to retract the jack. That means you press the down button to raise the trailer and so on. I was able to pull the derailleur out of the lid and fold it over easily, now I prefer the derailleur to follow the trailer.
