Buy for style not light

Bought this fan/light to replace a light fixture in a dining room. 14x16 room with 14 foot ceiling. First, the instructions are a joke. Some prints are so tiny that you need to add a magnifying glass to the necessary tools you have on hand. Some of the parts mentioned in the manual are not even listed in the manual. I've hung many ceiling fans, although the principle is the same. Trust the pictures, not the written word. I thought the ceiling mount mounting screws (4) were missing but found them dangling over the styrofoam package in the box. The biggest disappointment is the light output. It's not strong at all, and since it's built into the LEDs, it's not easy to install brighter bulbs. We ended up having to order a couple of floor lamps to make up for the lack of overhead light. Perhaps if the ceiling height in the room were lower, the poor light output wouldn't be as noticeable. I used a longer bottom bar so it's not too close to the ceiling.
