Wow I have a 32 inch LCD monitor now. With this cable, I am writing this review from my 15 inch laptop which is 10 feet from the TV. The cable works as described. I had no issues with the "bulkyness" of the cable. I've used this on both a netbook and this laptop and don't see any cable issues. I can understand if you were walking around with your laptop the cable would come loose, but if you're just sitting at your laptop it's not a problem. The cable also has an audio jack to transfer audio from your laptop to your TV. Both ends also have ferrites to reduce interference. I put the film into my laptop DVD player and the picture and sound were fine. In fact, the video on the TV was much better than the laptop playing at the same time. PS: The 15-pin connectors have screws to attach to the receive connectors when installed on your computer. My TV has them, but none of my laptops or netbooks have them. Again, I see no problem with this cable. Also, the audio jack fits my 7", 15" and 17" laptops, but if your audio jack is on the opposite side of the video jack on a 17" laptop, you may have an issue with that the audio cable reaches the input jack I'm guessing what an adapter might be to extend the audio cable but you need to check.
