Stuck died at the age of 2.5 years. It worked great at the time, but I didn't know much about some of the most common issues with this router until it finally hit me. My ERLITE-3 no longer boots after checking the working memory. It crashed after trying to factory reset it (that was after it crashed once while I was at work). I thought maybe the built in flash drive was the problem after researching the Ubiquiti forums. Ordered a serial cable and a new compatible USB stick, confident I could fix it, but it also requires setting up my own TFTP server, which can be a complicated process for non-networking users. It turned out that all these efforts were in vain as I still can't access it directly due to a failed RAM check in U-Boot. After that I gave up. Did some more research to find out that RAM failures are common on these devices. It's too late for me to RMA, and while I liked its stability and performance, I don't think I could spend more than $100 on another knowing it would let me down again. Only buy if you can accept the onboard storage or RAM. will break down over time. Now I'm thinking about an alternative to Mikrotik.
