Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ Lasko 5309 Digital Oscillating Tower Heater: Efficient Comfort with Electronic Controls by Shauna Bishop

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not enough heat coming out, weaker than Lasko 5307

Bought the 5307 version last year and it still works great. I chose another one and got 5309. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and it's definitely not as good as Lasko 5307. For some reason the heat isn't that high and takes longer to heat up. in a smaller (less than 150 square foot) room with high ceilings than the Lasko 5307. What would take about 1 hour to comfortably heat my room with the Lasko 5307 would take about 2 hours with this Lasko 5309. not sure if i got the wrong one. But for some reason the heat input for this is pretty low. What I also don't like about the 5309 is that a flashing light always lights up for the set heating temperature. Also, any time you want to lower or adjust the temperature, you'll need to hold down the Temp button until you hit the right one, where, like the 5307, you can simply turn the knob to the heat setting you want. You can also toggle from a low to a high setting by pressing the temperature button. I find it very awkward to keep pressing the buttons to get the desired heat level instead of turning the dial.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Bad instructions
