fo These pads are of the highest quality but can be used in limited areas. I used one to polish a clear bathtub. You need a small pad for this work in narrow pads for small areas. Get 6 or 8 inches for all automotive work. (Except for the grill and things that instantly rip the foam rubber to hell.) I still don't understand why they cost so much. There are many companies that produce facsimiles. But I'm sticking with 3M.
