Review on πŸ”Š Belkin Fusive Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Limited Availability by Aaron Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for playing the violin

The slim body of this slim speaker fits in the music compartment of my violin case. Other Bluetooth speakers are shaped like a cube, which makes them too thick. I usually connect my Tascam recorder/player to this speaker to play orchestral pieces while playing my violin. Also works well over my computer's Bluetooth. It works so well that I can play my computer and my MP3 player through this speaker at the same time. Compared to the Logitech UE BoomBox, which costs around $100, which is what I use it for, I can't tell a significant difference in sound quality. UE doesn't fit in my violin case, so I use it. The included case provides good protection for keeping in your book bag. I love the business! The kickstand is very strong and greatly reduces the chance of it tipping over on impact. I haven't tried it with my cell phone yet. I have not found another speaker to compare to this at any price for ease of storage in my violin case. The volume seems good for playing an instrument alone, I haven't tried it with a quartet. Having used more expensive speakers I can't believe how cheap this one is or why people buy more expensive ones.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • So-so
