Very easy installation. I have an Access Master 1/3 HP 2006 opener. It only came with a single function bell button. I wish I had done this many years ago. He could only open and close the door. I would say the whole installation took 10 minutes. The tools I used included a cordless drill, a standard screw and drill bit, a flathead screwdriver, a standard screwdriver, and a spirit level. Unplug the garage door opener, unscrew the old bell button. Save the screws. Unscrew the red and white cable. Put the bottom screw back into the wall almost flush. Flathead easy, I mean very easy, remove the white cap and then check the mount. After the bottom screw is tightened to the desired level, drill the top hole. Connect the red and white wires, thread the wire through the slot and tighten the top screw. Replace the white cover and connect the garage door opener. Did. Now it locks and you can control the light. FYI, in lock mode, you can still open and close the door via the wired wall box you just installed, but your remotes or programmed cars won't work. Love it!
