I am a 6 foot 165 lb male with a small ponchee. I ordered a large and it fits me. I almost didn't order it after reading the reviews that it was too short. I consider myself tall and thin and found the length perfect in the size I ordered. Maybe it's only in X-Large sizes. Anyway, I'm not sure which sizes are too short, but I can't tell if my large one is too short. In any case, I liked that the vest had no chest pockets and was plain with leather throughout front and back. I also liked that it's not a V-neck. I'll be using it on warm spring and fall days and thought the V-neck might be cool. My only downside to the vest is the open zip with no panels on the front or back to prevent wind from getting in the zip. However, I didn't notice much air going through the zipper, so it's not really a big deal. I don't carry a gun so I can't comment on the hidden gun pouches. They're a great place for a hat or gloves. This vest is a sentinel.
