I was disappointed in several ways. First, the width of the magnet armature is too wide to fit the hole in my car's air vent. This causes the anchor to be easily pulled out. Second, the magnet is not strong enough to hold the weight of the iPhone X, which is too heavy to securely hold the magnet while moving. The phone would just fall to the ground while driving. I have no doubt that in the event of a collision, the phone will easily break off the mount and turn into a flying projectile, flying through the cabin. It's not safe.
