A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.
I primarily took this poppy for frontend development, so I have a 16gb RAM version. If you are also planning to upgrade to the M1 and don't know if this poppy is suitable for the front, yes it will, you can safely take it. In my case: Docker (you will be surprised how well the arm version works, if of course you can apply โworks wellโ to docker at all. Let's just say it works much faster, for comparison, on MBP 15 2022 the build was around 5-7 minutes, now 2 minutes, also ated very quickly 20-30 tabs in Chrome and open Safari/Mozila Two VS Code windows and a local server Postman, MongoDB Compass, instant messengers, Zoom and a few more utilities And everything works fine, with an external monitor (Full HD)
- + The same that everyone has already written: battery life, performance, optimization of the system as a whole. Huge leap forward for the industry + Price. For a device with such potential and features, it's inexpensive + Build quality and the device itself, I have no complaints
- - Sound. It's pretty average, both from Bluetooth and from speakers/jack. It's not very significant, but still. If for you the poppy is the main device for listening to music, you may have to take an external sound card / DAC, the old MBP 15 2022 was enough for me without external devices. - Location of ports. They could be from different sides, but this is already subjective. And of course there could have been four, not two. - Keyboard layout. Of course, on the Apple website, I can choose, say, American, but not so much that I want to overpay for it. A matter of habit, but not very convenient
