Cute but NOT waterproof

This is a very pretty vase and I would give it 5 stars for looks alone. But it is NOT waterproof. The seller says it's waterproof in the Questions section, but based on another review I tested it before using it on fresh flowers. Water slowly seeps from below. The photo shows how much leaked out after about an hour. Comes in a nice gift box (although mine was a bit crumpled). I love the look of this vase but the description should state that it is not waterproof.
