I have had a Doss Soundbox Touch for a few years and have been using it with my computer. I now have an Echo Show and decided I needed a speaker to pair with so I could play songs off a micro SD card when I took the speaker outside. Because I'm so lucky with the Touch, I ordered the Pro+. This little speaker has amazing sound quality and is loud enough for what I need. I am very impressed. After a few minutes I connected the speaker to the show. Didn't think I would like the lights but I do like them from time to time and they are easy to turn on and off. The speaker is solid and well made. The rubberized surface is very nice. The only problem I had was my fault. When playing music from a micro SD card, I like it when it shuffles. This requires you to email Doss Support to download the firmware and make shuffle changes. I wrote to them, downloaded the firmware. However, the speaker didn't recognize the firmware, and I was driving poor support rep Alicia crazy until I figured out what was wrong. I downloaded the file named "Upgrade.FWN" twice. I have a copy on my computer and the second on a micro SD card to plug into the speaker. Well, he didn't reject me, since the copy that went to the SD card was a "second" download, the computer renamed it to "Upgrade(1).FWN". After a whole day of chatting with Alicia, I finally figured out what it was and removed the "(1)" from the filename. Once I made it so that the speaker accepted the firmware and everything was fine. sorry alicia
