I ordered a set of 3 (black, blue and burgundy) shorts with a 2" inseam (size small). I usually wear American women's shorts. 2-4 Pros: The fabric is thick enough not to be see-through The price is reasonable - less than $8 per pair Cons: The waist ends an inch lower than my belly button, which is not a "high waist." "is not compressive. They are very stretchy (not enough material resistance to allow for compression) and the waistband looks like a 3/4" or 1" elastic. It's not wide enough and doesn't sit high enough to support the lower abdomen. I also wish they had some with a 3" inseam. I find 2 cm too short and 5 cm too long. ETA: I decided to return them and just pay more to get what I want. I was very worried that they wouldn't stay in place during hard sporting activities.
