A cute kettle that works as intended. I like how the exterior design changes color when heated. The whistle is not that loud but good enough. I recommend cleaning the kettle thoroughly before use. And here's why: it can leave a dark metallic dust or film that you'll want to clean, so be sure to clean the kettle thoroughly before use, especially inside and on the lid. Then do a test and final cleaning by filling the kettle at least half full with water and letting it make noise for at least 2 minutes, then turn off the heat of the stove and let it stand with hot water and steam for 5 minutes. Empty the kettle and then dry it with a paper towel. Paper handkerchief, check the handkerchief for dark spots or anything else. When the napkin/towel is clean, the kettle is ready.
