Until I found TankTech I ONLY used this product. However, it did not resolve the black tank items as well as TankTech. BUT I still buy pure blue as I think it's far superior to any other tank product other than TankTech. The reason I add something to the holding tank after every reset is because TankTech is odorless, so Power Blue keeps the smell in the holding tank much better than NOT using it. I also put it in my sink so the gray tank could benefit from the smell (but also in combination with TankTech.
