Review on ACDelco 17779B Professional Bonded Brake by Jordan Perez

Time will tell how good these pads are and they're certainly better than the almost bare pads they replaced, but they work slim. Maybe I just don't understand the concept of adhesive pads, but brake pads feel like cardboard. A screwdriver can probably go all the way (a good half inch of the padding was frayed and torn in shipping). I'll look at them in a few years and see how they work. I can only say that the parking brake with these pads and the new ACDelco drums cannot lock the rear wheels (while driving) even after a proper break-in period. The OEM shoes were metal and didn't cause any problems.
