Smooth installation and quiet operation
The previous taco pump in my house failed after about 7 years. It was a cast iron model. After reading online about rusting in the piping when using cast iron pumps, I decided to replace them with the more expensive stainless steel option. This pump fits the space perfectly and now runs quietly with no leaks. I'll keep an eye on it and hope it lasts the same or longer than the cast iron version.
