My phone memory is almost full. So I got this GoBlown device to transfer OTG from my phone to computer or memory card. Please note that this is hardware only. You need transfer software. My first problem was to find OTG software for my Android phone. There are many apps, but almost all of them are just junk - full of ads, not an app. I finally found one that looked like it would work. He was recommended along with a few others. I couldn't get it to work. I tried to transfer but was told the app must be on the device I was transferring to but the app was an Android only app which would not work on my computer. I was trying to connect to my Surface Pro 7 using GoBlown. It worked and my computer could read the phone as if it were a mass storage device but couldn't transfer. So far without success. I was able to use GoBlown as a card reader. The good thing is that it is connected to port C and on the other hand to port A. Pulling connection A gives you a port that connects directly to my Android phone, but it didn't stay there for long. Most teenagers would probably know how to do OTG, but I couldn't figure it out. Aggravating.
