They just arrived today. I installed one of these in front of my 2000 Dodge Ram van. Doesn't matter! It was like going from the light of a single candle to a 60 watt lightbulb! While the LED's light temperature is slightly lower than the original filament daisies, it's nowhere near as harsh as the 5000-6000K incandescent bulbs I've used. Overall I think it's a great thing. A possible disadvantage is that the LED panel does not fit in the translucent diffuser: the shell clips stick out too far and leave no room for the LED panel in the diffuser. So I put the cases aside for now. Due to the design of the LED panel, it does not affect the diffusion of light and does not cause glare. So I guess it's just a matter of aesthetics to live with the somewhat "unfinished" look of bare LED panels taped to the ceiling of my van.
