Just received today and I love it already

I decided to replace the original dome light and the one next to the tailgate as they can drain the car battery if I accidentally left the interior lights on overnight. Directivity (+ and -) unlike a traditional light bulb. If you plugged the outlet in one direction and it won't turn on, you need to reverse the direction. It took no more than 5 minutes to install and organize the situation. I was amazed at how bright it was! I wouldn't mind reading a book in the car. It's so bright. I thinkโ€ฆ

EXTREMELY bright low power consumption, but the included adhesive tape is pathetic

Very VERY bright. I connected two of these together in parallel to make a single panel of 96 LEDs and they are connected by a flat board on the back. And they are so bright they burn like a lightbulb! However, they are quite hot. And the adhesive pad will peel off over time. So I recommend replacing it with strips of thermally conductive double-sided tape and sticking them to a conductive metal surface. Done, and now they stay ice cold! I aligned the strips cut to the perfect size to fitโ€ฆ

These things are amazing!

Those amazing things! I needed a trunk light for a 1966 Mustang Fastback that I am restoring. But I don't want the modern blue and white LED look that most have. They give off a very natural light that really looks like a floor lamp. Except that they use almost no energy and give off a lot of light. And by tons, I mean that you could read about these things. I will order more to act as a footwell highlight. They get hot if left on for long periods of time, but are still a much coolerโ€ฆ

Great alternative to light bulbs. It may not fit in the lens of your ceiling.

They just arrived today. I installed one of these in front of my 2000 Dodge Ram van. Doesn't matter! It was like going from the light of a single candle to a 60 watt lightbulb! While the LED's light temperature is slightly lower than the original filament daisies, it's nowhere near as harsh as the 5000-6000K incandescent bulbs I've used. Overall I think it's a great thing. A possible disadvantage is that the LED panel does not fit in the translucent diffuser: the shell clips stick out too farโ€ฆ
