This is expensive for GM Olds/Buick/Pontiac vehicles mid 80's thru 1991 model year. I had a problem with the cabin fan humming and not maintaining a constant speed. The speed signal from the climate control module varied as did the fan power so it could be either the main unit or the fan module and I didn't want to spend more than $100 to replace the Delco brand. This unit turned out to be an exact replacement for my GM even though it was part of Mopar so I gave it a try. The charm worked - now the fan control is perfect. Not sure about long-term reliability, but so far so good. One of the three mounting screw holes is misaligned, but this can easily be fixed by simply drilling a hole where it should be, or simply omitting the third screw. Still not really necessary. Now my air conditioning fan is running at a constant speed again! I'll be happy as long as this inexpensive off-brand replacement lasts. I've disconnected it from the airflow for a while to compare it to the original module and it seems to be cooling well enough that I'm feeling good at the moment.
