Review on 🚴 LEZYNE Saddle Bag Caddy by Tom Beland

The most important tools I need fit easily and effortlessly

Went through several suitcases. As a novice cyclist, I customize my saddlebag for basic repair tools but don't add too much weight or bulk. Basic tools include: a spare tube, 2 nylon tire levers, 1-2 CO2 cartridges, 1 CO2 inflator, 1 multi-tool. Specialized's first saddlebag fell apart after a few years of use. Also, the placement of the velcro allows the bag to always sag and fall off seemingly every minute. Its velcro has touched my shorts while I'm peddling, so it's scratching the inside of my right leg. The second is Topeak Dyna Wedge. It looks stunning, but it doesn't do what you would expect a saddlebag to do - the rigid body makes it impossible to mount my most important tools. The velcro straps holding the saddle rails are too short to stay on. He fell so many times on my first ride. The people who rode with me have to stop and wait for me to fix everything. I ended up putting it in the back pocket of my jersey as it's thin enough to fit in. So I finally settled on this saddlebag based on what I had learned. This saddle is the size I need (you can get a larger or smaller version of this). The basic tools I need fit easily and effortlessly. Velcro straps are conveniently placed to keep the bag close to the seat post and seat rail. And an inner pocket helps you organize your tools better, making them easier to find. The style isn't as trendy as the Topeak Dyna Wedge, but it won't make you look like someone who just started cycling yesterday.
