Review on Baby Lock Brother Embroidery Monster by Morgan Gilmore

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent product that requires fine tuning of quality control

I LOVE the ease of use of this tire and how it securely protects my patchwork sandwiches and other items without burning through the tire. It's less tiring than jumping into a traditional hoop. With traditional tires, I always have to resort to painter's tape or double-sided tape to keep my project from shifting (as expensive as these tires are, you might think that's not a problem). With the Monster Hoop, I know my project is protected on all four sides. Ribbon is not required. I would give it five stars except it doesn't snap securely onto my Brother PE-770. Currently, the Hoop Monster jumps out of the embroidery unit while sewing. This is especially noticeable when the weight of my quilt sandwich and the frame are in the most forward position. It also appears when I try to make small adjustments to my embroidery hoop before embroidering. The metal frame of the lock seems to be too thick and interferes with the secure locking of the embroidery unit. Better quality control would have made this a five star rating. make small adjustments to my hoop before embroidering.
