Fell apart in my car!

Plugged in, after an hour of operation the screen starts flashing, I look down and the case with the contacts doesn't fit the connector exactly, a piece of metal is sticking out, try to unplug the cable and everything will fall apart I had to use tweezers to get the piece out of the hole.
