This is a simple elegant dress that could be used for a casual or more formal event depending upon accessories. It's length is very long which works really well if you are seeking a more formal look and you are tall. At 5' 8", I can wear my 2" heels and it is perfect floor length ready to go. If you are shorter, you could have it hemmed to your preferred length. The size chart was very accurate. I was actually between sizes and after trying the larger and smaller size, decided to go with the smaller size because it was the chest measurement that made me order the bigger size First. But, I found that the smaller size was stretchy and forgiving enough around the chest to enjoy the better waist definition and less baggy look of the smaller size. I will wear it with formal jewelry and will wear it for a dressier occasion, but because the fabric is more of a stretchy casual type, I could see someone wearing it for everyday with sandals. If you have lumps and bumps you may prefer the bigger size over a closer fitting option as they will readily show with this kind of fabric. Also, it is sheer enough that I felt I need to order a nude slip and underwear to wear under it to feel completely covered. Some people might not care; it depends on your level of comfort.It is also reasonably priced. I needed a white dress and other alternatives were hard to find and most were twice the price for a strictly formal gown that didn't have any the ability to adapt between formal and casual occasions.Anyway, I am very pleased with this option and would order again.
