Hello. These scissors are phenomenal! Some of that might have to do with the transition from downright terrible clippers to these, but they really are awesome. My husband's hair is very thick and coarse, and our old (admittedly cheap) clippers kept pulling on his hair, even when moving slowly and only clipping very small strands at a time. They walked the entire aisle without having to empty our purge. They're nice and heavy, and the scissors are metal. Battery life is also good as it was still around 90% after I cut my husband's hair. All in all a great pair of scissors and totally worth the money.
