It would be better if the back wall were longer. It's designed to fit 16" racks exactly. It's great if the two stands are right in the middle of the wall you're going to hang the TV on. Otherwise, you'll have to hang the bracket off-center. You had to add the back plate an additional 8" wide so you could move it from side to side and still hook two studs in. I still give 4 stars because you can move the tv back and forth on the front mount a bit, this adjustment allowed me to almost close the tv center. I moved the TV stand just a bit and now it looks nice that it's moved a few inches towards the wall. It has some nice features that make it very easy to level. I like the articulation and the ability to tilt this mount. My last mount tilted but didn't come off the wall or rotate from side to side. That makes connecting, adjusting the sitting position in the room etc. very convenient. The TV is a little farther from the wall than I'd like, but it was the lowest mount I could find with hinges. Overall very happy with this item so far.
