Review on SENNHEISER SET840 - TV RF Stereo Assistive Listening Headphones System for TV Optimization by Ashley Rogers

I love my Sennheiser TV Assist!

I've been using TV-Ears for a whopping ten years now. Only ten years actually. Suffering only occurred when TV ears broke, which was a common occurrence. I've owned at least three TV ears in that time, which I don't think is too bad, but I have the same poor customer-centric design and marketing quirks of TV ears. I never imagined the dramatic difference in quality you could make by paying just a little more for what immediately stands out as the best TV hearing aid I can imagine! Sennheiser 840s are wonderful, the quality is superb (you actually hear the stereo exactly as it was recorded during the episode's filming. Quiet noises from nearby streets, background noise, traffic noise che. all). The headset picks up the signal exactly as it's being sent, wherever you are - throughout the house, with no loss of quality or volume, noise, etc.). them, and they will be charged exactly as much as necessary. I've never used up the entire available charge, and I suspect that's almost impossible for someone used to taking proper care of such a device. They turn on automatically when they stretch just a little bit to fit in your ears and conversely turn off when you take them out. What a concept! Not only am I thrilled, I'm amazed at how long it's taken me to recover. (Over the years I've come up with some really innovative ways to fix those ultra-fragile plastic expandable TV ears that I'm now pretty sure I'll NEVER use again.) Get one of these; you will like it!
