I love this tablet. It is absolutely suitable for small children. Battery life is ok. It's easy for my 2 year old to navigate. But it's a price, it's for a reason. We already have the 4th tablet since the end of January. The screen breaks fairly easily. Or should I say it's not for boys! I was hoping this would be until we got something else. I have twins so we will have 2 in total. And the boy is already in his third year. All in all I can recommend this tablet. Just be aware that the screen breaks easily and you may have to buy another one.
