Great product but with a twist

Love this product and love Grohe products. Always very good quality. However, very poor pressure right out of the box. I have great water pressure and the old Grohe shower head felt great. The pressure was so anemic that even my wife (who loves gentle water pressure) had to use the hand shower to fully rinse her hair. With all due respect to Grohe rep David G. for answering the previous questions, he should check which model of showerhead it is. The flow restrictor is firmly fixed in the "back of the head" as described, but has a rib designed to be installed but not removed (easily). If you try to remove it with needle nose pliers I promise you will pull the plastic pieces out of the shower head. Using a jeweler's flathead screwdriver, I was able to get under the 1/8" rubber o-ring inside the stopper and pull it out. Every single minute of it. But for that one problem (albeit a small one), a GREAT product. Excellent water distribution throughout the head, not a single nipple dries out when I tilt it 20-30 degrees from vertical. Although I'm not sure anyone would need to tip it as I'm a rain shower head and should be pointing straight down. I didn't like the Grohe shower extension (straight) so I bought a Purelux 17 gooseneck shower arm. ://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074TFVGFJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1]I like the look more than the straight one Grohe had. I'd rather stick with Grohe if they do what I can find.
