Should have read the reviews first! I only use stainless steel, cast iron, ceramic or glassware for all my meals. When I opened this I was very concerned. It's extremely light for stainless steel and the color and finish feels like aluminum to me. And yes, the photo is not the pan. I issued a refund after reading similar comments in the reviews. I can't 100% say it's not stainless steel with a weird matte finish (that's why I put ** instead of *), but it doesn't seem to be the case. I am happy to announce an immediate no-questions-asked return. Buying and Trying a Ceramic Muffin Pan from American Bakeware; Made in the USA. There are no reviews for it, but I've had great results with other porcelain tiles.
