I have used Coflex kits for three tricky sink/trap replacement jobs- one kitchen and two bathrooms. The product is well made and is code compliant in many states. It may not be the answer for every job, but can certainly be quickly and properly installed for many applications. One note- the flex pipe is fairly stiff, moreso on the bathroom kit. You have to be a little patient and work the pipe some to make it more flexible. In this most recent bathroom sink replacement I had to use a piece of wire- affixed to the wall and tail pipe extension- just to hold the alignment in place because the angle of the flex joint into the wall was abrupt. In a past repair, I had to consult with Coflex about a problem and the company was responsive, thorough, and quickly shipped me a replacement part- despite the fact they are located in Mexico and the part came from their Mexican warehouse. I received it within a business week. Consistently well made products at great prices through Ebay, and top-level customer support.
