Snappy Trap Universal Drain Kit For Bathroom Sinks Review

What a product! I used the flexible tube and the rest of items in the kit. First time, flexible tube was a bit hard to fit and struggled with the first plumbing. Second and third went very smooth. Do this! Flex the flexible tube all direction first several times before connecting to the pipe. Insert the extension tube as much into the drain pipe for rigid support while inserting the flexible tube. Tight half way or 3/4 tight at all connections, then tightened after you make flexible connection.

A standard P Trap didn't fit under my bathroom sink because the cabinet was too close to the bottom of the sink. This kit, with flexible pipe, allowed a slight bend, which accommodated the drain. Not only that, but the flexible pipe is smooth inside, not corrugated as another flexible pipe I tried was. This one won't trap debris like the others. This is about the 6th or 7th p trap that I have had to install in the last 10 years. We had problems because the last contractor messed up the drain pipe coming out of that wall and there wasn't a way to cut that pipe (without grinding it out). I have used Coflex kits for three tricky sink/trap replacement jobs- one kitchen and two bathrooms. The product is well made and is code compliant in many states. It may not be the answer for every job, but can certainly be quickly and properly installed for many applications. One note- the flex pipe is fairly stiff, moreso on the bathroom kit. One of my bath drains is just enough off from the wall to the base of the sink that a standard p-trap drain pipe doesn't work. I used the cheapy accordion style drain tube for years, which as I expected, would eventually become caked with crap as every rung inside the thing provides a nice shelf for junk to land. I did a quick update to the hall bathroom in my mom's house, Paint, new toilet and vanity.The new vanity has a smaller width and taller height with a drawer and shelf inside the cabinet. This presented an issue with the plumbing. This allowed me to easily connect my new vanity and sink combo to the exisiting drain myself. It's certainly not as durable as a hard piped PVC connection but its simple to install and accomodates a lot of different installation scenarios. The quality of the kit seems good; perfectly fine for a bath vanity, but im not sure I'd use it for a kitchen sink/garbage disposal.

I only ended up needing a few of the items, but it was so much easier to get everything in one kit. Certainly better than having to run back and forth to the store. It installed quickly, and with zero drips. Great item.

What i like about this Universal drain kit the most is that I didn't have to make multiple trips to Home Depot. Everything you need is in the kit and makes life so much easier to installing a new drain trap for the bathroom sink. It' is really easy to install and simple!

The Snappy trap kit made it much easier to align the pipes thanks to the flexible pipe included in the kit. The kit may not be eco-friendly!

After reading the reviews, I decided this would be easy to install. After trying for two hours, I couldn’t get the right configuration to connect to my bathroom drain. I ended up getting a flex drain kit from HD. The "flexible tube”. Is NOT very flexible, thus my low rating.

This kit makes all the cheap big box $9.00 kits look like junk, as a handyman, I have probably used over 20 of these kits and have never had to return to fix a leak or damage, It installs very easily, has simulated rubber gaskets rather than the plastic ones and includes everything you would ever need. The variety of pieces included is what makes this a great product. I needed the wall coupler, the short tube, the ptrap and the tall sink drain extension. You can’t get all of these in one at the big box stores, you’d have to hope they’re all available separately in the sizes you need. Finished a month’s long project in minutes after I received this package via delivery!

My contractor was trying to make my sink trap work with different pipe material from home depot. The result was not functional and twist and turn was weird. Bought this kit at Ebay and love the final result.

The locaiton of the drain outlet in relation to the sink drain meant "normal" traps didnt fit, this worked a charm! Glad someone invented it!So Far no leaks! Comes with good quality rubber seals.

Excellent Product! Well designed, manufactured and packaged. Product contains parts required to install the drain system in multiple configurations. Instructions are well written and easy to follow. Of note is the reference to, and label showing the plumbing standard compliance for a smooth internal surface in the flexible pipe, which meets plumbing codes.
