Review on Snappy Trap Universal Drain Kit For Bathroom Sinks by David Lambert

This was the perfect fix!

I did a quick update to the hall bathroom in my mom's house, Paint, new toilet and vanity. The new vanity has a smaller width and taller height with a drawer and shelf inside the cabinet. This presented an issue with the plumbing. The wall tube came out of the stub out right on top of the shelf in the cabinet which meant having to cut away part of the shelf if the P-trap was going to fit and I wasn't going to do that. Also the drain tail from the sink is 1 1/14 and the rest of the pipes are 1 1/2. So I got online and found Snappy Trap, I had found another similar item but decided on Snappy Trap instead and I am glad I did. The instructions are very good and they help you decide what parts to use if you have never replaced a p-trap before. I have done a few of these in my day so I was confident I could figure the best configuration for my sink. Not only did it work with both sizes of pipes I have but I didn't need to cut into my new vanity! YAAAAH! I did remove all of the original pipe to the stub out and made everything new. I used the extension from the sink drain to the P-trap and a shorter wall tube to the stub out. I did use plumbers tape on the threads and it worked great the first time no leaks. This had been a great product and I am thrilled with the results!Don't hesitate to buy this product. it's very easy to use and the instructions are great.
