I needed a phone charger for my car. It looked good and had two mounting options. I chose the vent mount as there aren't many good flat spots in my car to mount a suction cup telescopic mount. The fan worked perfectly. There is a small hook to attach it behind the vent fins and a spring to clamp it in place. This thing doesn't move. The real charger/holder has a socket on the back that attaches to the ball on the clip. You can tighten it to keep it from moving. I installed it vertically, but it works horizontally too. You then need to plug the USB into your vehicle and the C-Type end plugs into your charger/holder. Make sure you connect the C-type end all the way. I thought it was broken until I realized it wasn't fully plugged in. When you have power there are sensors on the charger/holder that you trigger and it slides open for you to insert your phone. Then he slowly pinches your phone. Qi wireless charging worked very quickly on my Samsung phone. So far this has been a great car charger for my phone. Highly recommended.
