Installing the AVLT-Power Dual 32 " Monitor Wall Mount

The AVLT-Power Dual 32" Monitor Wall Mount comes complete with all the accessories needed to mount two monitors to a pole or drywall. But the wall in the middle of my desk had drywall with wood spikes on either side. I didn't trust drywall to support two expensive monitors with the included screws and clamshells. To install the AVLT unit, I purchased a 2 foot long, 3/4 inch thick and 8 inch wide piece of red oak from Home The Depot. to keep. After I finished the woodwork, I attached it to two wall studs with four #12 3-inch steel pan head wood screws so the AVLT mount could be centered on my desk. This eliminated the problem of using the included hardware to mount directly to drywall. The device comes with two VESA 100 x 100 mounting plates for attaching two monitors. They fit perfectly on my two 27" LG monitors. Two packs of custom VESA threaded studs also came with it, but I used the ones that already came in my LG monitors. My monitors weighed about 12 pounds each and the AVLT wall mounts wore them with no problem.Gas shock absorbers had a reserve of force to hold them in any position. However, if the monitors were overwhelmed by the shock absorbers, the arms could be lowered to the lowest position where the shock absorbers were not needed. The VESA plates are mounted in the ends of the brackets are inserted and secured against 90° with the screws provided. % of their potential for fluctuation. This is important as the brackets allow you to rotate monitors from landscape to portrait. Locking screws prevent the monitors from slipping off the armrests. The AVLT -Power Dual 32" Wall Mount is a great way to free up more space on my desk.
