Easy installation. The junction box cover isn't very secure, so I wrapped it with a small amount of electrical tape. A template with a perfectly sized paper hole. I used a dremel with a circular cutter. The springs hold the lights firmly to the ceiling, nice and flush. They dim very well and don't hum or flicker when using the Lutron dvwcl-153ph-2-wh purchased here from Revain. My lights are 4.5 feet apart and 16 inches from the top cabinets, providing plenty of light. Virtually no shadows on or under the counters. It was manual work. The 3000k color is white enough for someone (me) who likes light as white as possible, but also for my wife who loves traditional (piss yellow) light.
