Awesome 11th gen motherboard with support

The previous motherboard was ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark I and the processor was i5-4690K. I bought this motherboard and i7-11700K and it was worth the upgrade. Paired with a Samsung 980 PRO 2 TB NVMe M.2 SSD, I take full advantage of PCIe 4.0. Unfortunately, PCIe 4.0 is not available for 10th Gen CPUs and Samsung 970 PRO NVMe M.2s SSDs. I also use two SATA drives along with an M.2 SSD. For those who want to use the 4th M.2 slot, the 5th and 6th SATA drive ports will be disabled. I'm a total novice to BIOS and overclocking, but I love the menus. Everything is so easy to navigate that I don't think it's necessary to switch to EZ mode. I deal with Windows 10 issues when I upgrade motherboards, but other than that I'm here to rate the overall motherboard performance and it's an easy 10/10.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
