I like that it can be used with any type of application or file format. You don't have to use only Microsoft Office documents. We are able to store our files using this program as well as PDFs. The interface may not look very attractive at first glance but you get used to it quickly. Once you've got your head around how things work, you'll find yourself doing more than you originally intended. There isn't much we dislike about mastercontrol other then maybe some small features here and there. If you do decide to go through training they provide everything you need from setting up your account to getting familiar with their product line. This has really helped us streamline our document management system and reduce errors when transferring information between departments within our organization.
