M8 bolts not 1/4 " or 5/16 "
These are cheap casters, workable but I had to return them as M8 bolts are not suitable for my use. M8 is about 5/16" so will fit the same hole but the threads will not fit non metric holes. If you drill a 5/16" hole and then use the nuts provided they are fine for very light use .
